We are very excited to introduce a new box size to our line of invitation boxes, 5.5"x7.5"x1"! We have also added a custom Slimline version of this box (5.5"x7.5"x0.75") which will be available on request. Samples of this box are available to our dealers at a special rate of $10 + shipping and handling, as a new addition to your dealer kit. The mailers, bedding, and pockets are still at the design stage and will not be available until a future date. Please feel free to contact us for more information or with any questions you may have.

Uniquely Yours Mailers

While there are different ways to mail invitation boxes, we wanted to explain more about the mailer that Uniquely Yours sells. A 'mailer' is a simple inexpensive white box we sell that fits either our rectangle or square invitation boxes. Using a mailer protects the beautiful invitation box from being banged around in the mail or getting dirty. When exquisite embellishments are used to adorn the outside cover of the invitation box a mailer becomes a necessity! While the Uniquely Yours invitation boxes are strong enough to withstand the mail, adding the mailer not only protects the invitation boxes, but also builds up the excitement of the invitation!

First impressions are key to the success of an event. Imagine the guests going out to get the mail and receiving a mysterious package amongst their letters. The whole presentation is built up from opening the mailer, taking out our matching invitation box, opening the invitation box, and finding your gorgeous and elegant invitation inside.

Going Green

Funny how there is so much white (snow) outside and not an ounce of green in sight. But here we are, talking about green (the green movement that is)!

Recent trends in the wedding industry are leaning towards going green. Which is why we want to remind everyone of how eco-friendly our invitation boxes are. Boxes from Uniquely Yours Invitation Boxes are made from 95% post consumer recycled material. Also, if the wedding guests can bear to part with the elegant box, it can be 100% recycled after use.

Look out for the Uniquely Yours Invitation Boxes ad published in the Spring edition of Get Married magazine! The magazine has been on newsstands since January 18 and our ad is even bigger then last time! Our intention with the ad is to bring business to you, our dealers, so let us know it's working by shooting us a quick email if someone contacts you. Something like, "Just got a response from the ad in Get Married." We're trying to help our dealers but the only way to measure the success of the ad is through your feedback! Retail outlets where Get Married is distributed include: Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Borders, Target, CVS, Walgreens, and other independent groceries and bookstores.

Quick Sample for Inspiring Ideas

The boxes from Uniquely Yours Invitation Boxes come with optional soft bedding for the inside of the bottom of the box, and a four sided pocket attached to the inside of the cover of the box. The four sided pocket is great for framing the RSVP cards, holding and preventing damage to a wedding favor, themed embellishment, or cushioning the top embellishment of the invitation. The pocket is soft and will protect more fragile items. The soft material of the pocket and/or bedding is great for pinning embellishments onto. The bottom bedding can be covered with material, lace, or netting, and we can also cut paper to cover the bedding that matches the paper covering the box. Bottom bedding can be cut, so that the invitation sits higher then whatever is put around it, on any sides of it, or to frame it (this works well with smaller invitations). If the bedding is removed or cut down, the base of the box under or around the invitation can then be filled with flower petals, feathers, potpourri, or anything else envisioned. The bedding and/or four sided pocket can be taken out to utilize the full one inch depth for invitations that have taller 3D designs. If the pocket and/or bedding is completely taken out of the box, we can line the inner box cover and/or bottom with paper.

Paper Changes

The following sample papers are now discontinued. Please remove the paper swatches from our swatch books. All papers are listed numerically according to the label on the back of each paper. The swatch books have a simple metal closure in the corner that can easily be unscrewed. Any paper number that begins with a 2, is part of our 200 series and will appear in BOTH swatch books.

The following 5 colors of Stardream paper have been added to our swatch paper choices. Special for the holidays, we have mailed a gift of the new swatches together with our holiday cards at no additional charge! Please hole-punch the new papers, and add them to our swatch books. You were sent two sheets of each new color. They are part of our 200 series, so one goes into the Cover book and one goes in the Bottom book.

We have Slimline in stock for customers coming last minute who desire an invitation box. Slimline boxes have ¾" depth and come in a square 8 ¼" x 8 ¼", or a rectangle 10" x 6 ¼". Slimline boxes come in black or white with black or white board on the inside. If your customer likes the ¾" depth and there is enough time, Slimline boxes can also be customized, using any of our beautiful swatch book choices. For customers on a tighter budget but still want the wow factor of an invitation box, our stocked Slimline is perfect for them.

With a lot of enthusiasm, we're proud to announce the start of the Uniquely Yours Invitation Boxes Blog. We will be using our blog to post updates about our company, news, ideas, and to get some feedback from our readers.

Take a look below at one of our rectangular boxes with embellishments on both the invitation and outside of the box. Which leads us to our first question, what is more in right now, rectangular invitations or square?
